Nigel Boycott is a Jaguar engine specialist. Specialising in the rebuilding and reconditioning of classic Jaguar engines. All Jaguar engines from 1948 -1979. XK120, XK140 and XK150. E-type engines 3.8/4.2 and Jaguar XJ6, XJ12 and XJS V12 engines. Nigel has over 40 years specialist experience with rebuilds and reconditioning of Jaguar engines. He joined Jaguar as a works apprentice in 1971 and went on to work in the factory engine reconditioning department, working all derivatives of the XK and V12 Jaguar engines. He later worked for Proteus cars as an engine builder for C- type replicas. Engines are reconditioned by hand from customer supplied units. All costs are fully reviewed with the customer throughout the project.

Recently completed! Rebuild of 1968 Daimler V8-250. Manual with overdrive. Very rare only produced 200 manual ones and not all had overdrive. The car was bought new by the current owner’s father. It had completed approximately 90,000miles. After their purchase by Jaguar the V8-250 was the last Daimler to be fitted with the a Daimler designed engine of Edward Turner.
